Industry Leader Scott Opitz Named President and CEO of Logic Explorers Former webMethods Executive to Help Position Company for Aggressive Growth Philadelphia, Pa. - August 9, 2004 – Logic Explorers, an innovator of development acceleration tools, today announced that Scott Opitz has joined the company as its new President and CEO. In this position, Mr. Opitz is responsible for overseeing global operations, creating a clear vision for the organization, and helping to oversee and drive product development. Prior to joining webMethods, Mr. Opitz served as Chief Technology Officer for CNT Corporation. Mr. Opitz joined CNT in 1998 with the acquisition of IntelliFrame Corporation where he was CEO and Co-Founder. During his tenure he was co-creator and responsible for the industry leading Enterprise/Access and InVista product families. Prior to founding IntelliFrame, Mr. Opitz was Vice President of Advanced Technology and Business Development for Conextions, Inc., where he guided the development of Conextions' legacy systems integrations tools based on the NEXTSTEP/OpenStep operating system. Before that he held product marketing and management positions at IDEAssociates, a leading provider of data communications and connectivity solutions for a variety of legacy systems environments.
